The collection of water particles suspended slightly above the ground has the natural tendency to alter our view. In many instances, our view becomes more beautiful, maybe even awesome. It is another reminder of the magnificent glory that surrounds us.
Of course, this condition does not alter the truth, it simply makes it appear differently. The honest light beams are scattered by the droplets producing various paths of light, further blurred by reflection. The broken, diffracted truth is then shared with the world, albeit temporarily.
Most of us trust that this altered story entering our vision provides the proof that the ever changing universe can be even more beautiful. We, the seekers of light, can feel more opportunities and positive variations in the world as the fog multiplies the true light beams into more directions than we previously experienced. Our quixotic focus allows us to look no deeper.
Don Quixote was no ship captain. Ship captains understand the fog on a different level. Most ship captains realize something different and arguably more powerful about fog. They comprehend that the light is drastically muted in this environment but they have suffered to a much greater extent learning that the fog allows the darkness to come to life.
Fog allows shadows to be cast in three dimensions. This condition allows the darkness to form at greater depths. The truthful light beams can be manipulated, to malevolent depths. The enlightened ones remain suspicious of the fog. They accept that the shadows live behind the blur of the condition.
Live beyond the fog.
Enjoy the view if it brings you beauty.
Recognize the life in the shadows.
Trust the truth only when it is real.
Relish grace. Reject deceit. Remain honest.
