Sometimes the universe reminds us of our scale. We may have fine tuned all our individual plans when we charted our course, but a bigger picture is in motion. Real big. Bigger than us.
This is not a new situation, of course. It is older than the ice age.
On occasion, the universe gives us a slight reminder of our scale. As beautiful as we may be, we are but an individual dust particle in an infinite sea of thought. Acknowledge the awe of our composite thoughts and ideas, as one. How are our thoughts connected to that big picture?
Take a snow day. Break from your routine. Ponder your individual connection to the infinite.
Create thoughts that shine light. Combine them with more and the light shines brighter. Together we can create a star.
Pause. Come together. Shine.
I love it. Yes, it is nothing new and we have no control over it. To think we can do anything about the big picture is the height of hubris. We can only affect our individual journey.
