We enjoy when the road serves us sunny experiences. When the weather is great, the journey is enjoyable regardless of our planned destination. We may choose a motorcycle or convertible to increase our senses to the good ride. Feel the wind in our hair. Smell the freshness of the open air. When all aspects of our journey are glowing from the sun rays of positive energy, simply coasting along can bring us joy. Absorb that joy when it is offered.
Coasting along is temporary by nature. The surrounding environment applies the resistance of friction. You have hit some bumps on the road. Bad weather or road hazards will eventually arrive. You may find yourself on an uphill climb. In the severe legs of your journey, you may feel all the forces working against you. When we find ourselves on a troublesome steep uphill climb, why don’t we simply turn around and coast downhill?
The direction you travel is more important that the ease of the ride. Perpetually coasting can only continue when you travel downhill. The distance to the high road is farthest from the depth of the valley. Chart your course to the high roads. Let the aim of your high destination override the lure of coasting downhill.
Willfully drive uphill. Know that the positive climb is bringing you to a better place. The upward climb defies the gravitational forces around us. The determination to climb upward provides a higher joy. The struggle of the climb is no match for the beauty of the choice.
Have purpose. Drive Hard. Make a difference.
Decide. Go. Matter.
